Receipt logo
How to upload your business logo and turn on printing it on receipts. The logo is uploaded once into the trade point card, and from there it is used by the POS, the electronic receipt, and the QR menu.
How to open
Go to: Sidebar > Points of sale > Trade points and open the card of the point you need.
Route: /warehouse/guides/s_automated_point
Quick actions:
Uploading the logo
The trade point card has a Logo field. There are two ways to upload:
- As a file — drag an image onto the field, or click it and pick a file.
- By link — paste a direct image URL and press Add.
Accepted formats: JPG, JPEG, PNG, GIF. The Delete logo button removes the uploaded file.
The field appears only on a saved point
A brand-new trade point has no Logo field yet. Save the card first, then reopen it — the field will be there.
The logo is set per trade point: different points can have different logos.
Printing the logo — Paloma POS 2
In the app: Settings → Receipt customization → Receipt appearance.
| Setting | What it does |
|---|---|
| Logo on the main receipt | Print the logo on the clean original receipt (no copy band). On by default |
| Logo on the merchant copy | Print the logo on the "Merchant Copy" chit. On by default |
| Logo on the customer copy | Print the logo on the "Customer Copy" chit. On by default |
| Logo size | Scale the logo on the receipt, from 25% to full width. 100% prints it as before |
| Label logo size | Scale the logo on printed labels (stickers and packing) |
| Auto-trim logo margins | Crop blank borders around the logo so the first content line starts closer to the top of the paper |
Each copy is configured independently — for example, print the logo only on the customer's chit and save paper on the merchant copy.
Printing the logo — Paloma365 Classic
In the Windows POS the receipt logo does not live in a setting — it lives inside the printed form itself. Printed forms are FastReport templates (.fr3 files), and the logo sits in the template as a picture element.
Where to change it:
- Open the POS settings, section Receipts and Reports.
- Choose Printed form templates.
- Press the button for the form you need — Bill (the guest's pre-check) or Paid receipt (the chit after payment). The other forms live here too: Label, Sales act, Material statement, X/Z online register, Salon.
- The template editor opens — add or replace the logo picture there.
Narrow 58 mm paper uses its own template versions, so the logo on those is edited separately.
For printing and printer selection in Classic, see Receipt printing and printers.
Where else the logo appears
The same logo from the trade point card is used beyond the paper receipt:
- electronic receipt — the web receipt page the customer opens by link or QR code;
- QR menu — on each trade point card;
- QR payment and connected loyalty systems.
If no logo has been uploaded, these places fall back to the default Paloma365 (or PalomaPOS) logo.
Common problems
The logo is uploaded but does not print. Check that logo printing is enabled in the receipt settings (Paloma POS 2), or that the logo is present in the printed-form template (Classic). Uploading the file does not enable printing by itself.
The logo prints too large or blurry. Reduce Logo size in the receipt settings. Receipt paper wants a high-contrast monochrome image: a thermal printer has no halftones, so a colour logo with gradients comes out as a dark smear.
There is a large gap between the logo and the first line. Turn on Auto-trim logo margins — the blank borders around the image are cropped automatically.
We need the logo on one point only. That is how it works: the logo is stored in the trade point card, and each point has its own.
FAQ
Can the receipt logo differ from the QR menu logo?
No. There is one logo per trade point, and every surface takes it from that card.
Is a transparent PNG supported?
PNG is accepted, but a receipt printer prints on white paper and does not reproduce transparency — transparent areas simply stay white.
