Plugins tab: Kaspi Kassa, bank terminals, Smart Plaza, Halyk Restaurants — Paloma365 Classic (Windows POS) ​

This article covers Paloma365 Classic — the POS application for Windows. It is a reference for the "Plugins" («Плагины») tab of the POS settings window («Настройки Paloma365 - фронт офис»): the Kaspi Kassa online cash register, the Smart POS Terminal and Senim payment systems, Smart Plaza loyalty, the Kaspi, Alsep, Halyk, Forte, Alatau, Freedom and BCC bank terminals, plus Halyk Restaurants and Kaspi QR.

The «Использовать KaspiKassa» tick box is only an indicator of the Kaspi Kassa online cash register ​

  • Where: Settings → "Plugins" («Плагины») tab → "Fiscal registers" («Фискальные регистраторы») block → tick box «Использовать KaspiKassa» (Use KaspiKassa).
  • How to enable: the tick box cannot be changed on the POS — it is greyed out and only shows the state. The POS receives the connection flag from the Paloma365 cloud when it signs in. The Kaspi Kassa plugin must be installed in the program folder.
  • Notes: the POS does not check the minimum Kaspi Kassa plugin version at startup. Do not confuse it with the Kaspi bank terminal in the "Payment systems" block.

Kaspi Kassa: entering connection details ("Connection test" button) ​

  • Where: Settings → "Plugins" → "Fiscal registers" → next to «Использовать KaspiKassa» → "Connection test" («Тест подключения») button.
  • How it works: the button is visible only while Kaspi Kassa is connected; it opens the Kaspi Kassa plugin's own sign-in window where the connection details are entered.

Smart POS Terminal: indicator and the "Smart POS Terminal" payment type ​

  • Where: Settings → "Plugins" → "Payment systems" («Платёжные системы») block → "Use Smart POS Terminal" («Использовать Smart POS Terminal») tick box.
  • How to enable: the tick box is greyed out on the POS (indicator only) — the flag comes from the cloud when the POS signs in. The Smart POS Terminal plugin must be version 1.0.0.2 or later: with an older version the POS warns at startup that the module needs updating.
  • What it does: a "Smart POS Terminal" payment type appears in the payment window. You can make it the default on the «Окно оплаты» (Payment window) tab → «Тип оплаты по умолчанию для дополнительных видов» (default payment type for additional types).
  • Notes: this tile has no "Connection test" button — the link to the terminal cannot be checked from the settings.

Senim: indicator and the "Senim" payment type ​

  • Where: Settings → "Plugins" → "Payment systems" → "Use Senim" («Использовать Senim») tick box.
  • How to enable: the tick box is greyed out (indicator only); the flag comes from the cloud when the POS signs in. The Senim plugin must be version 1.0.0.1 or later.
  • What it does: a "Senim" payment type appears in the payment window; it can be chosen on the «Окно оплаты» tab → «Тип оплаты по умолчанию для дополнительных видов».

Senim: entering connection details ("Connection test" button) ​

  • Where: Settings → "Plugins" → "Payment systems" → next to "Use Senim" → "Connection test" («Тест подключения»).
  • How it works: visible only while Senim is connected; opens the Senim plugin's sign-in window.

Enabling the Smart Plaza loyalty programme ​

  • Where: Settings → "Plugins" → "Payment systems" → the Smart Plaza tick box. Note: in the Russian interface this tick box has a garbled label — «Использовать Тип оплаты по умолчаниюmart Plaza» (in the English interface: "Use default payment type Smartplaza"). It is the Smart Plaza on/off switch.
  • How to enable: tick it — a "Connection test" button appears. The setting is stored on this computer and is off by default. The Smart Plaza plugin must be version 2.5.7801.55731 or later in the program folder; with an older version the POS warns at startup.
  • Notes: Smart Plaza and Tuvis are mutually exclusive: enabling Smart Plaza clears «Использовать Tuvis» (Use Tuvis), and vice versa. This tile has no field for choosing a payment type for Smart Plaza.

Smart Plaza: plugin settings window ("Connection test" button) ​

  • Where: Settings → "Plugins" → "Payment systems" → Smart Plaza tile → "Connection test" («Тест подключения») (visible only while the tick box is on).
  • How it works: opens the Smart Plaza plugin's settings window.
  • Notes: if the plugin window does not open or returns an error, the POS shows no message. In that case contact support.

Connecting a Kaspi bank terminal ​

  • Where: Settings → "Plugins" → "Payment systems" → "Use KaspiPOS" («Использовать Kaspi») tick box.
  • How to enable: tick it — a "Settngs" («Настройки», Settings) button appears together with a line showing the current "IP" and "Payment type". Press it, enter the terminal details and press "Connection test". The terminal counts as connected only after a successful check; if the check fails, the tick box is cleared.
  • Notes: the IP address, payment type and terminal number are stored on this computer. Clearing the tick box disables the terminal immediately. The link runs over the local network, port 8080. Do not confuse it with the Kaspi Kassa online cash register ("Fiscal registers" block).

Terminal settings window: the "IP Address" field ​

  • Where: Settings → "Plugins" → "Payment systems" → terminal tile → «Настройки» (Settings) button (Kaspi, Halyk, Forte, Alatau, Freedom, BCC) or "Connection test" (Alsep) → «IP Адрес:» (IP address) field.
  • How to fill in: tap the field — an on-screen IP keypad opens. The address can also be found automatically with the "Поиск в сети" (Network search) button.
  • Notes: the IP is saved only after a successful "Connection test". All these terminals work over the local network on port 8080. The window opens without a title bar.

Terminal settings window: choosing the payment type («Вид оплаты:») ​

  • Where: terminal settings window → «Вид оплаты:» (Payment type) field → «Вид оплаты» selection window.
  • How it works: the default is «КАРТОЙ» (regular card payment). The list shows the point's payment types except cash, card, deposit, credit and Smart Plaza. If «Использовать правила типов оплат» (use payment type rules) is on in the «Окно оплаты» tab, only the types allowed for this workplace are shown.
  • Notes: the choice is saved after a successful connection test; the selected type is shown under the terminal's tick box on the "Plugins" tab («Вид оплаты: …»).

Terminal settings window: terminal number («Номер терминала:») ​

  • Where: terminal settings window → «Номер терминала:» (Terminal number) field.
  • How to fill in: tap the field — the «Номер терминала» keypad opens; enter the number from the terminal's receipt or sticker, or clear it. Network search uses the number to find exactly your device.
  • Notes: the number is saved when you press "Connection test" — before the link is even checked. After a successful test the POS fills in the number from the terminal's reply. Works for Halyk, Forte, BCC, Freedom, Alatau and Kaspi; for Alsep the number is not stored.

Finding a bank terminal on the local network («Поиск в сети») ​

  • Where: terminal settings window → «Поиск в сети» (Network search) button.
  • How it works: the search takes up to 30 seconds. If «Номер терминала» is filled in, the POS looks for that terminal: «Найден терминал № … по адресу …» (terminal No. … found at …); if that terminal is busy — «Терминал по адресу … отвечает, но занят другой операцией» (responds but is busy with another operation). Without a number: a single terminal found is filled in at once («Найден терминал: …»), several open the «Найденные терминалы» (Terminals found) list. If nothing is found — «Терминалы в сети не найдены» (no terminals found on the network). If a number is filled in but no terminal with that number responds: with nothing else on the network — «Терминал № … в сети не найден» (terminal No. … not found on the network); if other terminals were found — «Терминал № … не найден. Выберите терминал из найденных в сети.» (not found, choose from the terminals found), followed by the choice among the found terminals.
  • Notes: if exactly one terminal is found and its number is already assigned to another bank in the POS settings, the message adds «Внимание: этот номер уже настроен как …» (this number is already set up as …). Search works for Halyk, Forte, Freedom, Alatau, BCC, Kaspi and Alsep. After the search press "Connection test" to save the address.

The «Ручное подтверждение:» switch ("Proceed manually" button) ​

  • Where: terminal settings window → «Ручное подтверждение:» (Manual confirmation) switch (Да/Нет — Yes/No).
  • How it works: lets the cashier confirm a payment with the "Proceed manually" («Оплатить вручную») button when the terminal did not reply. On by default. There is one setting for all terminals; it is saved after a successful connection test.
  • Notes: the switch affects the Kaspi and BePay (QR, Kyrgyzstan) payment windows — there the "Proceed manually" button is shown only when the setting is on. In the Halyk, Forte, Alatau, Freedom, BCC and Alsep payment windows the "Proceed manually" button is shown regardless of this setting.

"Connection test" and "Cancel" in the terminal settings window ​

  • Where: terminal settings window → "Connection test" («Тест подключения») and "Отмена" (Cancel) buttons.
  • How it works: "Connection test" sends the terminal a test request. Success — "Settings are successfully saved!" («Настройки успешно сохранены!»): IP, payment type and manual confirmation are saved and the terminal is enabled. Failure — «Терминал не подключен!» (terminal not connected): the terminal is disabled and its tick box on the "Plugins" tab is cleared.
  • Important about "Cancel": «Отмена» also disables the terminal — the tick box is cleared even if the terminal was working before. The previous IP and payment type are not erased. To turn the terminal back on, tick the box and pass "Connection test" again.

Connecting an Alsep terminal ​

  • Where: Settings → "Plugins" → "Payment systems" → "Enable ALSEP" («Использовать Alsep») tick box.
  • How to enable: tick it — a "Connection test" button and an "IP / Payment type" line appear. The button opens the terminal settings window; the terminal is enabled after a successful link check over the local network (port 8080).
  • Notes: the terminal number is not stored for Alsep.
  • How it works: while Alsep is enabled, the POS checks the link every 60 seconds (the first check runs right after pressing the button on the Alsep tile; after the program starts, checks begin automatically, the first one about a minute later). If the terminal does not respond, the POS shows «Терминал ALSEP недоступен и будет отключен, проверьте настройки соедиения!» (the ALSEP terminal is unavailable and will be disabled, check the connection settings) and disables the terminal.
  • Notes: after that, re-enable the terminal and pass the connection test again. The word «соедиения» in the message contains a typo — that is how the POS displays it.

Connecting a Halyk bank terminal ​

  • Where: Settings → "Plugins" → "Payment systems" → «Использовать Halyk» (Use Halyk) tick box.
  • How to enable: tick it — "Settngs" («Настройки») and "End the shift" («Закрыть смену») buttons appear, plus an "IP / Payment type" line. The terminal is enabled after a successful check in the settings window («Настройки» → "Connection test"); clearing the tick box disables it immediately.
  • Notes: IP, payment type and terminal number are stored on this computer. Do not confuse it with "Halyk Restaurants".

Closing the shift (settlement) on a Halyk terminal ​

  • Where: Settings → "Plugins" → "Payment systems" → Halyk tile → "End the shift" («Закрыть смену»).
  • How it works: the POS sends the terminal a settlement command with a receipt printed on the terminal. A terminal window titled «Закрытие смены» (Shift closing) opens with a «Повторить» (Repeat) button; the result is the terminal's reply.
  • Notes: the terminal must be reachable at the saved IP.

Connecting a Forte bank terminal ​

  • Where: Settings → "Plugins" → "Payment systems" → «Использовать Forte» (Use Forte).
  • How to enable: tick it — «Настройки» (Settings) and «Закрыть смену» (End the shift) buttons appear. «Настройки» opens the terminal settings window (IP, payment type, terminal number, network search, connection test); the terminal is enabled after a successful test. Clearing the tick box disables it immediately.
  • Shift closing: «Закрыть смену» runs a settlement on the Forte terminal.

Connecting an Alatau bank terminal ​

  • Where: Settings → "Plugins" → "Payment systems" → «Использовать Alatau» (Use Alatau).
  • How to enable: tick it — «Настройки» and «Закрыть смену» buttons appear. «Настройки» opens the terminal settings window; the terminal is enabled after a successful "Connection test". Clearing the tick box disables it immediately.
  • Shift closing: «Закрыть смену» runs a settlement on the Alatau terminal.

Connecting a Freedom bank terminal ​

  • Where: Settings → "Plugins" → "Payment systems" → «Использовать Freedom» (Use Freedom).
  • How to enable: tick it — «Настройки» and «Закрыть смену» buttons appear. «Настройки» opens the terminal settings window; the terminal is enabled after a successful "Connection test". Clearing the tick box disables it immediately.
  • Shift closing: «Закрыть смену» runs a settlement on the Freedom terminal.

Connecting a BCC (Bank CenterCredit) bank terminal ​

  • Where: Settings → "Plugins" → "Payment systems" → «Использовать БЦК» (Use BCC).
  • How to enable: tick it — «Настройки» and «Закрыть смену» buttons appear. «Настройки» opens the terminal settings window; the terminal is enabled after a successful "Connection test". Clearing the tick box disables it immediately.
  • Shift closing: «Закрыть смену» runs a settlement on the BCC terminal.
  • Notes: the BCC integration is built into the program; no separate plugin is needed.

The "IP: … / Вид оплаты: …" line under a terminal's tick box ​

  • Where: Settings → "Plugins" → "Payment systems" → Kaspi, Alsep, Halyk, Forte, Alatau, Freedom, BCC tiles → text under the tick box.
  • How it works: shown only for an enabled terminal and updated after the settings are saved. If no payment type is chosen — «КАРТОЙ».
  • Notes: "Halyk Restaurants" shows only «Вид оплаты: …».

Halyk Restaurants — Halyk QR payment via the Paloma365 cloud ​

  • Where: Settings → "Plugins" → "Payment systems" → «Использовать Halyk Рестораны» (Use Halyk Restaurants).
  • How to enable: the module is not switched on at the POS — the POS receives the flag, payment type and menu from the cloud when it signs in. The tick box on the POS only shows or hides the «Настройки» (Settings) button.
  • Notes: clearing the tick box on the POS does not turn the module off — the next time the settings open, the state is taken from the cloud again.

Halyk Restaurants: pairing the POS (Pairing Code, «Применить») ​

  • Where: "Halyk Restaurants" tile → «Настройки» → window with "Pairing Code:", «Вид оплаты:» (Payment type) and «Меню:» (Menu) fields → «Применить» (Apply) button.
  • How it works: enter the pairing code (numeric keypad «Введите код» — enter code, with a clear button), choose the payment type and menu, press «Применить». The POS sends the code, payment type and menu to the cloud. Success — «Рукопожание с Halyk Рестораны прошло успешно!» (handshake with Halyk Restaurants succeeded); otherwise «Не удалось провести рукопожание с Halyk Рестораны» (handshake failed) with the reply text.
  • Notes: internet is required. The result is not saved on the POS — the POS later receives the payment type and menu from the cloud when it signs in.

Halyk Restaurants: choosing the payment type and menu ​

  • Payment type: «Вид оплаты:» field → «Вид оплаты» selection window. Default «КАРТОЙ»; the list is the same as in the bank terminal settings window (respects «Использовать правила типов оплат»).
  • Menu: «Меню:» field → «Меню» selection window; the list shows the point's menus. If nothing is chosen — «Не выбрано» (not selected).

Halyk Restaurants: creating a new payment type right from the POS ​

  • Where: "Halyk Restaurants" settings window → button next to the «Вид оплаты:» field → window with "Name" («Наименование»), «Банковский счёт» (Bank account) and "Fiscal" («Фискальный») fields → "Create" («Создать»).
  • How it works: the POS creates the payment type in the cloud, saves it locally and fills it into the field. The default name is «Halyk Рестораны», and "Fiscal" is on. Name («Введите наименование вида оплаты» — enter the payment type name) and bank account («Выберите банковский счёт» — choose a bank account) are required.
  • Notes: internet is required; without it pressing "Create" shows "No internet connection..." («Отсутсвует интернет соединение...», with a typo in Russian — that is how the POS displays it), and the payment type is not created.

Kaspi QR — not on the "Plugins" tab ​

  • Where: there is no separate element on the "Plugins" tab.
  • How to enable: the flag comes from the cloud when the POS signs in; it is not configured or stored on the POS.
  • Notes: with the module on, the POS receives QR payment transactions from the cloud and keeps a permanent connection to the cloud. Kaspi QR payment through the bank terminal itself belongs to the Kaspi terminal ("Use KaspiPOS" tick box).
