Overview

The critical min/max document is used to configure stock monitoring thresholds. By setting minimum and maximum quantities for each item, the system can alert you when stock is running low (below the critical minimum) or is overstocked (above the critical maximum). This helps maintain optimal inventory levels and prevent stockouts.

How do I get notified when stock is low?

Once min/max thresholds are set and the document is conducted, the system monitors stock levels. Alerts appear in reports and dashboards when items fall below the minimum.

Can I set thresholds for all items at once?

You can add multiple items to a single document and set individual thresholds for each.

What if I only need a minimum threshold?

You can leave the Critical Max field empty and only set the Critical Min value.
