Overview

This page answers "how did sales change", not "how much was sold in total". For totals there is the Summary Report; here the shape of the curve is what matters — which days and hours revenue rises and falls.

Tips

  • The hourly chart is the main shift-planning tool: load peaks are immediately visible, and staff schedules can be fitted to them.
  • The weekday breakdown needs a period of several weeks, otherwise a single holiday distorts the picture.
  • An average receipt falling while revenue rises means growing footfall rather than growing sales — the two call for different responses.
