Movement

The movement document records the transfer of goods between warehouses within the same organization. Use it when goods need to be relocated from one storage location to another.

How to Access

Navigate to: Sidebar > Warehouse > Movement

Route: /warehouse/documents/movement

Overview

A movement document deducts items from the source warehouse and adds them to the destination warehouse. Both warehouses must belong to the same organization. After conducting, stock balances are updated on both sides simultaneously.

Step-by-Step Guide

  1. Go to Warehouse > Movement.
  2. Click Add.
  3. Select the Organization.
  4. Choose the Source Warehouse and Destination Warehouse.
  5. Set the Date.
  6. Add items to the grid and enter quantities.
  7. Click Save, then Conduct.

FAQ

Can I move goods between different organizations?

No. Both source and destination warehouses must belong to the same organization.

What happens to prices during movement?

Items are transferred at their current cost price. The price column reflects the value at which the goods are accounted.

How do I reverse a movement?

Open the document and click Unconduct. Stock will be returned to the source warehouse.
