Stock and Sales from a Phone

A common question from the floor: "how much did we sell this month" or "how much is left in stock" — with no computer nearby. You can check both from a phone, in two ways.

Way 1. The dashboard in your phone browser

The dashboard is an ordinary website and opens in a phone browser exactly as it does on a computer: go to dashboard.paloma365.com and sign in with your login. No separate app is needed for this.

Where to look:

QuestionWhere to go
How many units of an item were sold this monthAnalytics → Item Analytics: set the period and press "Generate" — the Top by quantity widget shows how much of what was sold
Overall sales picture for a periodReports → Sales Analysis
How much stock is leftReports → Stock Balance
How much of a product was used this week (e.g. meat)Reports → Material Statement: set the period and the item — the "Outcome — Qty" column

Way 2. On the register itself

If the register is at hand, the reports are there too — no need to open the dashboard:

So that not only the owner can look

An employee can be given limited dashboard access — only the sections they need, without money or settings. Rights are granted by the account owner in the employees directory.

FAQ

Is there a separate mobile app for reports?

There is no separate "dashboard app", and none is needed: the dashboard opens in a phone browser. The Paloma POS 2 app is a cash register, and it has its own warehouse reports as well (way 2).

The register and the dashboard show different numbers

Reports on the register show data as of the last synchronization — if the register was offline for a while, recent sales have not reached the server yet. The dashboard shows what has already arrived. Wait for synchronization and compare again.

Monthly sales do not match what we expected

Check the period in the filter (the "from" and "to" dates are inclusive) and that the right sales point is selected if you have several.
