FAQ

What units should I create?

Start with the most common: "Piece" (pcs), "Kilogram" (kg), "Liter" (L). Add more as needed for your items — "Portion", "Pack", "Meter", etc.

Can I change a unit after items use it?

You can rename the unit, but be cautious as the change affects all items using that unit. The short name appears on printed documents and POS receipts.

Is the short name required?

No, but it is recommended. The short name is displayed in tables, documents, and receipts where space is limited.

How do I restore a deleted unit of measurement?

A deleted unit is not erased from the database — it is only marked as deleted and hidden from the list, so it can be brought back:

  1. Open Guides > Units of Measurement.
  2. Click Deleted above the list — the records marked as deleted appear.
  3. On the row of the unit you need, click Restore.
  4. Click Back to return to the regular list — the restored unit is there again.

While the Deleted view is open, a record cannot be opened — restore it first.
