FAQ
Can one item have multiple specifications?
Yes. An item can be linked to multiple specifications for cross-category classification.
What is the difference between item groups and item specifications?
Item groups are the folder hierarchy in the items guide. Item specifications are a separate, independent classification that can be used for POS menus, reports, and filtering.
Do I need to assign specifications to every item?
No. Specifications are optional. Items without specifications simply won't appear in specification-based filters or reports.
